Oxygen is the core survival resource. Plan dives around depth milestones, surface before oxygen becomes a gamble, and upgrade the tank in a deliberate order.
- Surface when oxygen hits 30% — below that, the return trip becomes a gamble.
- Upgrade the oxygen tank before the suit; deeper zones are gated by oxygen, not suit pressure.
- Use air pockets and tanks in deep zones as planned checkpoints, not as bailouts.

Oxygen upgrade order
Upgrade oxygen tank tier 1 as soon as you can afford it, then return to it after every chapter. Tier 2 unlocks the 200m zone, tier 3 unlocks the 250m zone, and tier 4 supports the Glacial Passage and beyond.
- Tier 1: affordable early
- Tier 2: unlocks 200m
- Tier 3-4: Glacial Passage and deeper
